How to collect receivables

Full Payment

  1. Go to Receivables and select the receivable you will collect.

2. Click pay to record collection and View if you want to see the e-receipt.

3. Input the amount paid by the customer and click Save

4. Check the collection in the Daily Transaction Report. It will be displayed in the Collection from Receivables section.

It will be removed from the Receivables list when the customer pays the full amount.

Partial Payment

  1. Go to Receivables and select the receivable you will collect.

2. Select the Receivable and click Pay. Input the cash initially paid and click Save.

3. Go back to Receivables, and you’ll see the initial payment under column “Paid”.

If a receivable is only partially paid, it will stay in the Receivables list until the customer pays the full amount.

4. Check the collection in the Daily Transaction Report. It will be displayed in the Collection from Receivables section.
